Mozilla has released an updated version, 15.0.1, of its Firefox Web browser, for all platforms (Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X). This is billed as a security and stability release. The primary change appears to be a fix for a problem that made it possible to retrieve browser history for “private browsing” sessions from the browser’s cache file. More information is available in the Release Notes.
You can obtain the new version via the built-in update mechanism (Help / About Firefox / Check for Updates), or you can download a complete installation package, in a variety of (human) languages.
