As expected, Adobe has released a new version, 10.3.183.10, of its Flash Player for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris. The new version incorporates fixes for six identified security vulnerabilities, some of them critical. More details are available in the Security Bulletin (APSB11-26).
Updated versions of Flash Player can be downloaded from the Adobe download page. Windows users can, alternatively, use the update mechanism built into the package. Windows users should also note that they may need two updates: one for Internet Explorer, and one for all other browsers. Google’s Chrome browser comes with a bundled version of Flash Player; the most recent release of Chrome includes this new version.
Adobe reports that some of the patched vulnerabilities are being actively exploited in targeted attacks, so I recommend that you update your systems as soon as you conveniently can.
