Apple Security Updates for OS X

Apple has released a security update for the Mac OS X operating system, which fixes a number of security vulnerabilities.   The versions of OS X affected are 10.5.8 and 10.6.4, and Server versions 10.5 and 10.6.  More information about the fixes, with references to CVE numbers, is given in the Security Update announcement.  The fixes can be downloaded and installed via Apple’s Software Update mechanism, or downloaded here.
