Google has released a new version, 6.0.472.63, of its Chrome web browser for the stable and beta channels, for all platforms. This version corrects a bug in V8, the JavaScript engine; it does not appear to have any security implications. Details are in the release announcement on the Chrome Releases Blog.
As usual, you can get the new version via the built-in update mechanism; Linux users should find the updated package via the normal package maintenance tools.
